Stems: | | Usually prostrate to ascending, rarely erect, branched above, sparsely appressed-pubescent. | Leaves: | | Alternate, palmately compound, stipules ovate to lanceolate, .4 to .8 inch; petiole .4 to 2.4 inches; leaflets 3-5, elliptic to obovate, 1 to 2.4 inches long, .2 to 1 inch wide, base acute, tip rounded to acute, lower surface appressed-pubescent, upper surface glabrate, glandular-punctate. | Inflorescences: | | Racemes, continuous, dense, cylindric to somewhat conic, 1.6 to 3.6 inches long, .8 to 1.4 inch wide, axillary or terminal; peduncles to .24 to 6 inches; bracts ovate to lanceolate or elliptic, .2 to .6 inch.
